Music legend Stevie Wonder addressed the long-standing conspiracy theory that he isn’t actually blind during a recent concert in Cardiff, Wales.

Wonder reaffirmed his blindness and emphasized the importance of seeing people for their spirit rather than physical appearance. For years, the “Superstition” singer has credited his visual impairment as a key component to his creative genius.

“It’s played a part in that I’m able to use my imagination to go places, to write words about things I’ve heard people talk about,” he told The New York Times back in 1975. “In music and in being blind, I’m able to associate what people say with what’s inside me

.”The iconic musician has not released a new studio album since 2005 but has discussed a new project titled Through the Eyes of Wonder, aiming to create visuals that reflect his unique perspective as a blind man.
