Body Found at Attucks Middle School
HOUSTON — Houston police are investigating after a body was discovered Thursday on the grounds of Attucks Middle School in southeast Houston.
According to Houston ISD, a maintenance employee discovered the person in a remote area of the campus during a routine check and immediately contacted authorities.
School officials say the discovery happened before students could see the scene. The campus was briefly placed in secure mode while police investigated.
HISD says the incident was not related to school activities and there was no known threat to students or staff.
