Three Houston-Area Homeless Programs To Get Federal Funds

As part of an Obama administration plan to confront homelessness, three Houston-area homeless programs will receive nearly $2.8 million in federal funding.
On Tuesday, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development stated that more than $200 million will be allocated to some 700 new homeless programs nationwide.
