Chipotle Mexican Grill  has sued Frank Ocean for backing out of one of their ads. According to TMZ.com,

The company filed suit in L.A. County on Friday (March 7th). In the docs, Chipotle said that Frank signed on to a $245,000 deal to sing a remake of “Pure Imagination” for their new animated ad.

The company claims that the singer-songwriter decided against recording the track, because when they showed him the final cut, Frank was reportedly upset that the company’s logo appeared at the end of the commercial.

The food chain says it got an email from Franks team saying that the singer-songwriter thought he was promised the final say over the recording and all promotional materials — and also believed that the company was in breach when it refused to remove it’s logo.

Why would Frank think that Chipotle wouldn’t show their logo at the end of the their ad?

In other Frank Ocean news, Frank had decided to legally change his name to his stage name Frank Ocean. His real name is Christopher Edwin Breaux.  According to TMZ, in order to make it official, Frank has to plaster his intentions in a newspaper on four separate occasions, once a week, four weeks in a row.
