Storm Collapses Roof At Chevron At Weslayan & 59

According to Local News 2/KPRC, the Chevron located at the corner of Weslayan and SW Freeway 59 has a collapsed roof from the storm that has hit Houston today.
No injuries have been reported but the owner of the Chevron said that the down burst wind was so strong, it sounded like “something of a hurricane”.
A combination of high winds and rain are said to have been the reason for the collapse.
