TBS likes what it sees in the sitcom “Are We There Yet?”

The network has ordered 90 additional episodes of the series, which stars Terry Crews and Essence Atkins, according to reports.

A spinoff of the 2005 film starring Ice Cube and Nia Long, the TBS series about a family adjusting to life with a new father has averaged 2.8 million viewers since premiering in June.

“Are We There Yet? has proven itself to be an extremely strong addition to TBS’s comedy lineup,” said Michael Wright, executive vice president and head of programming for TBS. The show “attracts a young, diverse audience, making it an especially good fit for our Wednesday night slate of original sitcoms.”

TBS airs back-to-back episodes of Are We There Yet? Wednesdays at 9.
