Rodney Perry, comedian co-host of the highly popular ‘Mo’Nique’ Show, is hitting the big screen.

Perry will co-star in the latest installment of the Tyler Perry Madea dramedy’s, ‘Madea’s Big Happy Family.’ He will appear as Harold; a henpecked man who has completely lost control of his family.

The drama/comedy, was written and directed by Tyler Perry and was adapted from Perry’s stage play, which is currently touring throughout the United States. Perry began filming this month and will appear alongside Perry, (who is reprising his role as the pistol packing Mabel “Madea” Simmons,) Bow Wow, Loretta Devine, Lauren London, and Isaiah Mustafa.

Production is slated to wrap in early September and the film will hit theaters April 22, 2011.
