An 11-year-old boy is arrested for a stick figure drawing he made in class. The drawing depicted a stick figure with a gun pointed at four other figures with the words, “Teachers Must Die”.

Police hauled “Tim” (his parents don’t want to release his real name) from his home in Arvada, Colorado in handcuffs. They proceeded to book him, take his mug shot, fingerprint him, and even put him in a cell. The boy now faces a misdemeanor charge of interfering with staff and students.

His parents are outraged. Not only is their son on probation for the October incident, they are out thousands of dollars. His mother told a Denver TV station, “It was heart wrenching to see my 11-year-old son walk out my front door in handcuffs.”
