*(The legendary Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, is set to do her thing tonight on Coney Island. Oh yeah, here’s the good part. You can check her out for free!

Franklin, who canceled a Brooklyn appearance last year because she was sidelined with a variety of physical ailments, told the NY Daily News she plans on making up for lost time.

“I’m looking for a great audience,” she said. “They will get to hear everything that they came to hear – all of the hits.”

Fans may recall that Lady Soul cancelled both of last year’s scheduled concerts in Brooklyn – one at Coney Island and the other in Wingate. She had an injury to her ribs and it was rumored that she had pancreatic cancer.

As she’s done all along, she denied the cancer rumor, but wouldn’t be more specific about why she couldn’t keep the Brooklyn dates last year.

“I’m thankful for the great health I enjoy,” she said.

The 90-minute concert is expected to start at 8 p.m. on W. 21st St. and Surf Ave.

Ms. Franklin will be  singing all her hits like “Freeway of Love.” She’ll also mix in songs from her latest album, “A Woman Falling Out Of Love.”
