Stafford police and a SWAT team are on the scene of a home where a dad has barricaded himself and two kids inside.
It was first reported at 6 a.m. Tuesday. As of 11:15 a.m., the man was apparently still inside the home on Bonnie at Stafford Colony Lane.
Police say they originally responded to a report of a family disturbance. Once on the scene, they say the man started acting strangely. The father took his two kids and retreated into a bathroom in the home.
Police are not sure if he is armed or not. Officers are working to try and talk the man into safely walking out of the home.
Stafford Police, Sugar Land Police, Missouri City Police, and Fort Bend County EMS are at the scene.
