Police are searching for a “suspicious” man who reportedly posed as a truancy officer to possibly abduct young girls.
The Humble Independent School District is alerting parents after two separate incidents – one Wednesday afternoon and the other on Thursday morning.
On Wednesday near Foster Elementary, a man posing as a truancy officer approached a Kingwood resident on a green belt trail and asked for two girls, said Humble ISD spokesperson Karen Collier. The man was wearing a “PD” T-shirt but did not work for the district, she said.
