Teddy Pendergrass was an iconic singer with a legendary voice that melted hearts everywhere. His signature sound influenced some of today’s talented artists from Anthony Hamilton to Tyrese. Pendergrass gained success as the lead singer of the 70’s group Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes. The group’s most popular songs included “If You Don’t Know Me By Now” and “Wake Up Everybody.” Pendergrass then moved on to explore a solo career, releasing hit after hit. “Close the Door,” “Come and Go With Me,” and “Love TKO” were just a few of his greatest works.

Today, we remember and celebrate an entertainer’s legacy through the beauty of his music and performances. We love you, Teddy. Turn up the music and…turn off the lights!
