According to published reports, a man is dead after authorities say he crashed his sports car into the side of a house early Monday morning in northwest Harris County. The accident reportedly happened just before 3:00 a.m. at a home on Devon Green near Westfield Village.
Police say that the driver of a red Camaro was traveling along Devon Green when the vehicle ran off the road and ended up crashing into a house. Additional reports indicate that the driver of the vehicle died at the scene. The reason for the driver losing control of the car was unknown at the time of this reprot. He also had not been identified.
Inside the home at the time of the accident was a family of five children. The children were reportedly upstairs sleeping and and were not injured. Authorities continue to review details of the accident.
