A former substitute teacher at Westfield High School has been charged with online solicitation of a minor for allegedly sending nude photographs and text messages of a sexual nature to a student. Court documents indicate that twenty-five-year-old Tiffany Amos met the student who was 16 at the time, while substitute teaching at Westfield in March of 2012.

Additional reports state that the student told Spring ISD police that he and Amos exchanged cell phone numbers and began communicating through calls and texts. Amos also allegedly sent the student nude photos of herself as well as sexually explicit texts just before his 17th birthday.

Upon questioning by police, Amos admitted to sending the messages and knowing the victim’s age. She also allegedly stated that on his 17th birthday, she invited him over and the two began a sexual relationship. After a forensic investigation, the nude photos were found and charges were filed against Amos. On Thursday, Spring ISD released a statement about the case, stating that Amos was immediately terminated after learning of the allegations against her.
