Houst wanted there own space shuttle but we have to settle for a replica. A replice of the Space Shuttle is on its way to Houston and should make it here sometime Friday.
The “Explorer” replica is making its way to the Space City by barge from Florida’s Kennedy Space Center. Explorer is a full size replica of the shuttle, and some of its external components are authentic shuttle parts.
The interior, however, is not an accurate representation of a real shuttle. Plans right now call for the interior to be modified and remodeled to match a real shuttle. click here to read more
