Heavy thunderstorms, high winds and lightening moved across the Houston area Tuesday and there is a 40 percent chance that the Houston area could possibly see more severe weather on Wednesday.
According to area meteorologists,as thunderstorms make a track through North Texas and Oklahoma it is possible that those same storms could make their way into Houston and surrounding areas at approximately 2:00 or 3:00 p.m.
There is the possibility of heavy showers with winds. Wednesday began with temperatures in the low 70s. Highs are expected to rise to the upper 90s.
The extended forecast shows decreased chances for rain; there will be a 20 percent of rain early next week.
