Zimmerman’s attorney asked that Zimmerman be granted bond for a second time as he awaits a second-degree murder charge of Martin in Sanford, FL. His attorney says Zimmerman isn’t a flight risk and stayed in touch with law enforcement during his initial release on bail. Ok, that’s well, good and fine, but Zimmerman being a threat isn’t the issue here. He’a already killed a man and walked away with it, but was only put back in jail after it was found out that he and his ride-or-die wife, Shellie Zimmerman lied to the court about the money they had in possession and George’s passports.

Perjury, I believe is what they call that–which is punishable with prison time. What exactly is the latest ruling on The Zimmermans’ lies? Will they serve time for that as well?

The fact that Zimmerman’s lawyer is trying to get him another bond, after everything he and his wife have done is laughable, almost admirable. I mean, this man is clearly all about doing his job, but come on–basing the desire of a second bond for Zimmerman and using the fact that he “stayed in touch with law enforcement during his initial release on bail,” as grounds for that release is just…*sigh* give it up O’Mara and let your client pay for his actions.

A judge will consider O’Mara’s request at a second bond hearing Friday.
