A woman convicted in the death of a child who died in a house fire at her home day care was sentenced to 80 years in a Texas prison.

Jessica Tata, 24, was convicted of murder last Tuesday in death of 16-month-old Elias Castillo. He was one of four children killed in the fire. Three others were injured.

Elizabeth Kojah and Kendyll Stradford, both 20 months, and 3-year-old Shomari Dickerson also died in the fire.

She was accused of leaving seven children at home to go shopping last February when a pan of cooking oil ignited, causing the fire.
