Reports say that right after Jovan Belcher killed his girlfriend Kasandra Perkins — he leaned over and gave her a kiss. According to Kansas City Star, after shooting her in their master bedroom, he told her he was sorry and kissed her on the forehead. His mother was in the kitchen when the shots ran off. When she got into her son’s bedroom, she saw him kiss Kasandra and tell her goodbye. Belcher then apologized to his mom and kissed his 3-month old daughter and left the house.
Belcher and Kasandra reportedly had a troubled relationship. Belcher’s mother moved in to try to help the couple with their issues and help raise her granddaughter. The Chiefs also offered the couple counseling and support.
The NY Post also reported that the Belcher had dinner with another woman named Brittni Glassthe night before he killed Kasandra. As far as what went on during dinner, Brittni told the publication, “I was with him that night, that’s it.”
