The pregnant woman who allegedly ran over another pregnant woman after an argument over the same man appears in a Houston courtroom Tuesday. News 92 FM’s Ross Holland has more.
Shareyll Hunter, 26, was taken into police custody Monday night. Hunter, the ex girlfriend of Christopher Chaney, drove over his current pregnant girlfriend, 21-year old Alise Kelley — breaking both of her legs after a disagreement last Thursday.
According to published reports, doctors amputated one of Kelley’s legs, but her unborn child is doing well.
Hunter is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
