The Liberty County Sheriff’s Department is warning us about someone apparently posing as a deputy and making questionable traffic stops.
A woman told officers she was pulled over Monday night by an unmarked black car with flashing emergency lights.
Its driver was wearing a dark uniform-type shirt with a star shaped badge but no patches.
The man leaned into the woman’s window and made improper remarks, but left when another car drove past slowly.
Anyone with information about his apparent officer impersonator is asked to call the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office.
