Hurricane season is upon us and now’s the time to get prepared for any potential storm.
The folks at Centerpoint Energy are spreading awareness and advice.
They’re telling you to avoid any downed power lines during and after a storm.
David Visconte with Centerpoint says that if a hurricane forces you to leave your home:
If you think water is going to come to your home, open your main breaker. And if you have someone who’s dependent upon electricity for life sustaining equipment, you need to make other arrangements.
