Robin Thicke talks about the challenges of interracial dating.  According to Pulse of Radio:

The singer explained, “Yeah sure, a little here and there. Paula got a lot and I would take on whatever she was going through when she got home from those issues. The funny thing is, in high school she didn’t take me to prom, her prom, because she didn’t want everyone to know she was with a white guy because she was president of the Black Student Union. I was a secret. She didn’t want to show up with a white guy. Funny right?”

Thicke added, “That was 20 years ago and I do believe that with music and a lot of the influences in movies and entertainment is normally the leader in changing some of these societal things. And I think that times are changing. The new generation doesn’t feel the same way as the last generation . . . It’s mostly the older people who have those thoughts.”   (Pulse of Radio)

Robin’s new album ‘Blurred Lines’ is in stores and online right now and is slated to be #1 on Billboard’s 200 chart this week.
