According to Pulse of Radio, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius will testify before Congress this week on the troubled launch of the website for the Affordable Care Act’s health insurance exchanges, set to appear before the House Energy and Commerce Committee on Wednesday (October 30th). As the work continues on getting all the glitches ironed out of the system, there was another setback Sunday (October 27th) when part of it that had been working relatively well had an outage. The federal data services hub, a conduit for verifying the personal information of people applying for benefits under the law, went down because of a problem with an outside contractor. The company, Terremark, had a network failure that affected several of their clients, including the healthcare.gov site.
