(HOUSTON, TX)–Texas has 5-million uninsured residents who might have been eligible for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act.  But Health And Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius says millions of those people will not be covered because the State Of Texas chose not to expand Medicaid as part of the new healthcare law.

Sebelius says Texas loses 18-million-dollars for every day it refuses to expand Medicaid — a cost the federal government would pay.  But Governor Rick Perry says the federal funds come with too many strings attached.
