Deputies are investigating an apparent murder-suicide at this home that left two adults dead and two children injured (Dennis Spellman/NEWS 92 FM)

(SUGAR LAND, TX) — A family of four was shot Monday morning in Fort Bend County, deputies said.

It happened around 6:20 a.m. on Russett Lane at Southborough in the New Territory subdivision.

Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office deputies said a 15-year-old girl called 911 after she, her 11-year-old brother and both of her parents were shot.

The Latest News Headlines, Traffic and Weather:

The parents died at the scene. The children were airlifted to an area hospital in unknown condition.

A gun was recovered at the scene. Who pulled the trigger and why they did it is still a mystery.

A spokesperson for FBCSO said this appears to be a domestic incident and could possibly be a murder-suicide.

Seve Villani has lived across the street from 11 years.

“Very surprising; very happy family. We said hi to them every day. No problem at all,” Villani said. “No reason to believe that something like this would have happened.”

No suspects are being sought at this time, deputies said.
