Disney Channel star Zendaya Coleman, who by the way I’m a big fan of thanks to my daughter we love watching, ‘Shake It Up Chicago,’ on the Disney Channel. Zendaya Coleman will portray Aaliyah in a Lifetime Original Movie about the life of the actress and R&B star who, at the height of her career, died tragically in a plane crash.
Christopher Farley, former music editor for Time Magazine bestseller Aaliyah: More Than A Woman is the is the inspiration for the film, with the working title Aaliyah: Princess of R&B.
