(STAFFORD, TX) – Police now say they know who pulled the trigger in Tuesday’s murder-suicide in Stafford.
Investigators said 18-year-old Fahad Mughal used an AR-15 to kill his 23-year-old brother, Faheem, and 15-year-old sister, Rebecca. Then, he turned the gun on himself.

Stafford police said the mother of the victims discovered her children’s bodies when she came home. Each body was found in a separate room.
A fourth sibling was attending classes at Houston Community College at the time of the incident, and was uninjured.

Stafford police were not strangers to the home on Venice Circle. They reportedly responded to the house eight times over the course of about 10 years, mostly for domestic disputes.
Funerals are set for Friday at the Al-Noor Mosque. Rebecca’s friends plan to hold a candlelight vigil for her on Sunday night.
