Damnit Drake, this is all your fault!
Thousands of Drake fans gathered at the Wireless Music Festival in London’s Finsbury Park on Saturday only to find out that their light skin hero had fallen ill and would no longer be able to headline the show. Cue Kanye West. And just in case you were thinking “great replacement,” you are sadly mistaken…
Mr. West was booed as he went on a rant (his second one in two nights) about the media, fashion industry and him being of all things, shy. It didn’t help that his show was late. According to reports, ‘Ye kicked made it 15-minutes into his set before throwing a hissy fit that left the crowd chanting “We want Drake.”
No worries, the boos didn’t stop Ye from getting his point across.
“You know damn well no black guys or celebrities making Louis Vuitton nothing,” he said. “They let Pharrell make those [Louis Vuitton] glasses, and we liked ’em, right? They let me make those [Louis Vuitton] shoes and we liked ’em, right? They said, ‘No, no, no n**ga. Not no more. That’s too much. Stay in your place. Stand in front of that show and wear this jacket I made you. Stay in your place! Do what you’re paid to do! Don’t embarrass yourself trying to chase your dreams. Save face.”
He continued, “That’s why I got this f**king mask on. Cause I ain’t worried about saving face. F**k my face! That sounded wrong. Pause. They finally got a headline. But f**k whatever my face is supposed to mean and f**k whatever the name Kanye is supposed to mean, it’s about my dreams! It’s about anybody’s dreams. It’s about creating. It’s not about the idea about being a f**king celebrity, it’s not about the idea of being a black man trying to do fashion and s**t.
And it didn’t stop there. “I’m very shy in real life,” he said. “Because I’m too shy to put out some b*******. Sometimes it’s hard because I’m too shy to carry off a lot. I’m arrogant and shy and a little bit lazy. I’m too shy to lie to anybody and I’m too arrogant to make myself lie to anyone because lies take too much work.”

Ya know… we’re going to say something nice before we start throwing shade. We must say K-Ci (of K-Ci and JoJo) is looking very healthy these days…too bad he still has those crackish tendencies.
Video of K-Ci riding his security guard as he performs “If You Think You’re Lonely Now” in tribute to the late Bobby Womack is not only entertaining but the most blatant display of foolery we’ve ever seen. Maybe K-Ci’s legs weren’t working or he was tired after performing a long set, either way the Jodeci singer found comfort on his security guards neck, riding him as they toured the audience at the Greek Theater in L.A. this weekend. Can’t say we didn’t enjoy hearing K-Ci hit his signature “Ooo Yah.”
In related throwback news, Ginufine a.k.a Ginuwine has a serious addiction that has been impairing his judgement (so says his wife Sole). You may or may not remember a few days ago when Ginuwine posted a photo on Instagram of his daughter surround by dollar bills with the caption, “My daughter just came in. Should I be worried?” Well, we should be worried…about Ginuwine for that matter!
Sole responded to the picture saying:
“That was NOT my daughters money that @Ginuwine posted.. It was HIS & his sick idea of a joke..Been trying to keep silent but he needs help. I’ve remained silent but my child will not be publicly humiliated by a sick joke by some1 whos judgement is impaired.”
We all remember that TGT performance where he forgot the lyrics to the song and seemed geeked up on something… Ginuwine denied that he was on drugs.
Clearly, he needs help.

Forgive her oh purple one!
Lil Mo learned the hard way that shading Prince is never a good idea. The “R&B Diva” was headed to the bathroom backstage at Superdome for the 2014 Essence Music Festival when Prince was scheduled to go on stage. It’s a pretty known factor that no one else can be in the hallway with Prince because he’s totally not human, and Mo was told to wait.
As you can imagine, she didn’t take kindly to the inconvenience. Mo took to Instgram to vent her frustrations resulting in purple backlash!
Well, the king of side eye replied with this meme on Twitter:
