(KATY, TX) — Katy Mills put the suburb to Houston’s west on the shopping map when it opened it’s doors in 1999. Since then, it has continued to evolve into one of the area’s most popular shopping centers, drawing crowds of bargain conscious shoppers looking for a good deal on everything from clothes to electronics.
A number of major retailers call Katy Mills home, including Neiman Marcus Last Call and Saks Fifth Avenue’s Sak’s Off 5th.
This fall, two new shoe stores will join Katy Mills’ impressive lineup.
Steve Madden will debut near Bass Pro Shops at entrance 4, offering a wide variety of shoes and other accessories, including purses and jewelry. This will be the first Steve Madden outlet store at Katy Mills.
Shoe Palace will also open this fall and will be located across from Motherhood Maternity near entrance 6. This store will be dedicated to offering trendy athletic gear, including shoes, apparel and backpacks made for the contemporary athlete.
Katy Mills General Manager Don Massey says, “We’re very excited about the ability to offer so many different brands under such a great location here in the city of Katy. We’re very fortunate to be here in the fastest growing zip code in the U.S.”
Massey says construction on the two stores is currently underway and expected to take between 60 and 90 days, which means they will open their doors just in time for the holiday shopping season.
