Starry Night

Houston celebrated young lives on Nov. 15 with the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation’s new walk/run, Starry Night and raised a whooping $15,000.

The foundation focused on commemorating those children who have fought the battle against brain tumors. The light also shun bright for those who are no longer with us.

Four special kids were the special honorees at the 8.5K event at Discovery Green.

Starry Night, “…honored local children with brain tumors. These Stars were Mandy, Taylor, Tobin and Trent. Close to 200 participants lit lanterns at the end of the evening event to honor children affected by a brain tumor diagnosis,” said Starry Night Houston.

The entire night was a celebration and to join the fun hometown celebrity, Jake Worthington, a finalist on NBC’s The Voice entertained families all night long.

The organization is still taking donations, so if you would like to help please visit: www.mystarrynight.org.
