It’s finally over! After five months of debating, the Senate finally voted 56-43 confirming Loretta Lynch as the first African-American female attorney general for the United States of America.

According to CNN, Lynch is a “highly qualified, but low profile prosecutor who is good standing with law enforcement and a history of handling tough cases well.”
On a side note, Lynch is an alumna of Harvard University both in undergraduate and law school and also is a member of Delta Sigma Theta, Incorporated.
