Baseball great, Henry ‘Hank’ Aaron will receive an honorary doctoral degree from Grambling State University during the 2015 spring commencement. Aaron played 21 seasons for the Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves in the National League and two seasons for the Milwaukee Brewers in the American League. Aaron will be awarded the university’s highest honor for his contributions to professional baseball and society through his numerous charitable efforts.  One of the all-time home run kings ceremony will take place on 10 a.m. on May 8 in the Frederick C. Hobby Assembly Center in Grambling, Louisiana.
