Keeping you car away from high water is essential so if at all possible, move your car to higher ground, like the top of your driveway. If you live in an apartment complex or an area that is prone to flooding, you might consider a parking garage. A few downtown 24/7 parking garages are offering refuge for your cars for a fee. Try the parking garage at 820 Main at Parker. Also, SP+ Parking has 2 locations at 1210 Lamar Street and 1110 Rusk. If you are headed out I-10 toward Katy, free parking in the City Centre garage at 800 Town & Country. It is recommended that if you choose to park in garage, that you pro on the 2nd level or higher and avoid reversed parking areas.
