Since the deadly shooting at historical black church, Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal in Charleston, SC will likely be deemed a hate crime, you’d think that accused shooter Dylann Roof didn’t have any black friends. All 9 of the victims were black, but apparently he does have a black friend. Christon Scriven told reporters that he and Roof were friends and used to get drunk together and never said anything racist to him. He also said that, the church may not have been the primary target, but that Roof initially mentioned hurting people at the University of Charleston. Check out the videos below:
