Davis with Radio One CEO Cathy Hughes
Marcus Davis, host of Sunday Morning Live, was in Washington D.C. for the Congressional Black Caucus on September 19 when Cathy Hughes, history maker and CEO of Radio One, was honored with a corner bearing her name during D.C.’s annual H Street Festival. Cathy Hughes Corner located at 4th and H Street NE, marks the birthplace of Radio One. Thirty-five years ago, WOL, the first of what would be many radio stations, was housed at the location.
