UPDATE: During a news conference, police announce that it’s been confirmed at least 14 dead, 14 inured in the shooting. As many as three suspects are still on the loose.
Suspects are said to have “came in with a purpose” wearing military gear and leaving the scene in an SUV. The shooting took place at a center for people with developmental disabilities.
UPDATE: Multiple shooters have been reported in the incident.
According to CNN, a mass shooting has occurred in San Bernardino, California with reports of 20 victims.
Police in San Bernardino send out a tweet to warn those in the area of an active shooter situation.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department tweet below urged people to avoid the following area:

San Bernardino has a population of just over 200,000 people, located 60 miles east of Los Angeles.
