Brad Lewis, producer and writer of the thought-provoking film “Black Friday,” will join Marcus Davis on Sunday Morning Live.

Atlanta-based Lewis is in Houston to show the film at the Shrine of the Black Madonna at 6:30 pm on December 30. Featuring Hill Harper, Cynthia Bailey, and Jacob York, “Black Friday” explores the complicated relationship blacks have with money, and how wealth, no matter how limited, can be used to direct change in our communities.

Janet Baker, activist and mother of Jordan Baker will also appear on the show. Jordan Baker’s death at the hands of Houston Police officer Juventino Castro in 2014 sparked mass outrage. Last month, the city finally released video from the night of Baker’s death. Ms. Baker will talk with Marcus about her son, excessive force, and what happens next in our communities.

Sunday Morning Live airs from 9 am to 11 am.
