Is it possible for Kelly Rowland to still be glowing even after giving birth? We think so and the latest edition of Parents Magazine proves our theory.
The 34-year-old mother of one and her adorable son Titan look beautiful on their second mommy and son cover.
She tells the magazine how her one-year-old taught her patience.
“I was nervous that I didn’t have the patience to be a good mom, because before Titan I had zero. But now I am very patient. The Bible verse ‘love is patient’ is real!” she says. She’s also learned to let go. “I don’t make the little things into big issues like I once did,” she explains. “My OCD had to go out the window. My living room looks like a freaking day care!” Motherhood has also allowed the perfectionist to give herself a break when it comes to weight. Her advice to other new moms: “Write on your mirror in lipstick: ‘I had a baby. I’m a superhero.’”
Kelly also reveals some of the best mom advice she received from friend and reality star, Kim Kardashian West.
“Don’t forget about your husband. Cause you are just so into that baby when they come home, what they’re eating, if they’re happy…you want to be so perfect, but how did the kid get here? So that was really important for me to focus on. Thank you Kim.”
