Powerball Jackpot Now $675 Million

There was no winner in last night’s (January 6th) $500 million Powerball drawing, which was the sixth-largest ever in America and the biggest since a $564.1 million Powerball jackpot was won last February.

Kelly Cripe, a spokeswoman for the Texas Lottery, told the Associated Press that the next drawing on Saturday will likely be worth some $675 million, which would be the largest lottery jackpot of any kind in American history.

I’ll be sure to buy at least ten tickets before Saturday.
