Rumors were floating around yesterday (January 12th) that DeVante is no longer affiliated with Jodeci.
R&B singer Dren Calisas made the announcement on Facebook that DeVante is “no longer affiliated with Jodeci or anyone affiliated with Jodeci.”
He later clarified his statement, saying,
“When I stated he was not ‘Affiliated’ with Jodeci it was taken out of proportion and has turned into a social media frenzy of gossip. I was referring to our new music coming out and the fact when you see the name ‘Devante’ moving forward you know it’s our music coming out and nothing to do with the group Jodeci. . . “
He’s backtracking like a mug.
