Lyrics of love filled the air at the Hilton Americas Hotel this past Valentine’s Day weekend in Houston. The SWCC Annual Divine Encounters Valentine’s Day Gala proved to be the classiest event in the city, over the weekend. Everyone came out, dressed to impress. It was already assured that if you were in attendance, that you would receive complimentary roses and chocolates as and added bonus to the fantastic artists lined to perform. The Isley Brothers, the Gap Band, and Johnny Gill were all at the Hilton Americas Hotel to serenade all the ladies in the building. The People’s Station, Majic 102.1 were proud to have our own Kandi “SweetTalker” Eastman and Uncle “Funky” Larry Jones hosting it this year.
