In theaters April 1, the film follows the story of a history teacher (Melissa Joan Hart) caught under fire for letting her faith influence her teachings in the classroom. After being demanded to apologize for mixing church and state, the real battle begins.

Robin Givens talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about the recent success of faith-based films and how she says fly after 50.

“I think that says something about our time.  How people feel and it just being a confusing time and people want something different. The discussion has to be out. I want them to feel good about their faith and it’s okay to believe. It’s okay to say it out loud. It’s okay to say Merry Christmas. We’re so protective of everyone else’s belief that we kind of put our own beliefs to the side.”
