The Texas Lottery has partnered with the Houston Astros® on a new $5 scratch ticket. The Houston AstrosTM game offers more than $9.8 million in total prizes, three top prizes of $100,000 and a chance to win a trip to the World SeriesTM. The game is available at Texas Lottery retailers across the state.

“We’ve hit a home run with this new scratch ticket,” said Gary Grief, executive director of the Texas Lottery. “We are thrilled to join forces with the Houston Astros to offer our players this unique playing experience with the chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the World Series.”

Players that do not win instantly can enter non-winning tickets into one of four promotional second-chance drawings. Four lucky winners will win a trip to attend Game 4 of either the 2016 or 2017 World Series. The 2016 or 2017 World Series trip prize is a three day, two night trip that includes the following:

  •   Two tickets to Game 4 of either the 2016 or 2017 World Series
  •   Round-trip airfare for the winner and one guest
  •   Ground transportation and hotel accommodations at destination
  •   $1,000 spending money
  •   Three piece luggage set and a digital camera

    In addition to the World Series trip prizes, 844 Houston Astros merchandise prize packs, each valued at $565, will be given away. These packages include an array of Houston Astros-branded merchandise including: framed memorabilia, neon desk lamp, tumbler, glass clock, duffel bag, blanket tote and more.
