The multi-award winning singer, song-writer, and artist Kirk Franklin released a new album titled, “Losing My Religion”. He came to Houston, per the invite of the Ms. Marketta and Serious Sounds Etc., here in our South Park community. Serious Sounds Etc., will be celebrating 25 years of service in 2016 and Kirk Franklin wanted to be a part of commemorating this special milestone achievement. Also, Houston City Council Member Dwight Boykins of District D, on behalf of Mayor Sylvester Turner presented Kirk Franklin with a proclamation, deeming 04/12/2016, Kirk Franklin Day, in Houston. So, it was a special day in the South Park community at Serious Sounds Etc., with Kirk Franklin and his fans as they snapped their selfies.
