A Houston METRO bus was involved in an accident downtown injuring more than 30 people.
The accident occurred as a pickup truck traveling westbound on Runnels St. ran a stop sign and crashed into the bus heading northbound on Chartes St. The wreck forced the bus into the I-10 San Antonio freeway sign.
ABC 13 reports that the HFD AMBUS Mass Casualty Mobile Hospital/Transportation Bus was brought to the scene. Houston Police officials also say “at least 28 patients were taken to 3 different hospitals.”
