Wow, The Real Sound of HTown, Majic 102.1 had a blast with all of our listeners, friends, family, faculty, staff and participants at the Texas Southern University Homecoming 2016 Parade! The numerous and festive dance organizations, elementary, middle and high schools plus alumni, politicians, bands and Houston communities all came out in fantastic fashion to have an amazing time welcoming the 2016 Texas Southern University Homecoming Parade back to the Historic 3rd Ward area, where TSU’s campus is located. Majic 102.1’s own Robert “Bassman” Washington was right in the midst of all the parade action, giving a first-person perspective, on Facebook Live©, to everyone who may have been unable to make it out. The weather was gorgeous and tranquil, making it the perfect occasion for the parade and round-the-clock tailgating going on.
