Healthy living should be more than just a social media trend or hashtag. You and your family deserve for it to be your newly adapted and maintained lifestyle. The Real Sound of HTown, Majic 102.1 with Robert “Bassman” Washington were able to go out and attend the Black Restaurant Week Farmer’s Market in the Historic Third Ward community, located along a few blocks of Chenevert Street. The event offered Health Screenings, plenty of locally harvested fresh fruits and vegetables, gift baskets and Gardening Classes. There was a lot of information and support there to help people transition into healthier lifestyles and even maintain them. We all strive to live better and be healthier to accomplish the goal of being around as long as possible for our loved ones. This event was a wonderful initiative to help make that an achievable reality.
