Media reports last night (December 12th) said that President-elect Donald Trump will today name ExxonMobil CEO Rex Tillerson as his secretary of state, despite concerns about his close ties with Russia and President Vladimir Putin.
AP reported that Trump was said to be drawn to the idea of having an international businessman serve as America’s top diplomat. Trump is set to announce the decision today.
