Trey Songz was arrested for trashing the stage at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit following his performance on Wednesday (December 28th). As previously reported, Trey went off after the venue cut off the lights and his microphone because he took too much time with his show. Prior to going off, Trey told the audience that if his mic was turned off he was going to “go the f*ck crazy.” Trey then tore down the stage equipment and threw the mic before jumping into the crowd.

According to Baller Alert, Detroit police rushed the stage, where an officer was struck with an object. The officer later suffered a concussion. Rap-Up.com has since reported that Trey was charged with felony assault on a police officer, as well as, aggravated assault. He was arraigned at Detroit’s 36th District Court on Thursday (December 29th) with a bond set at $25,000 or 10 percent.

  • Trey faces up to four years in prison and a fine of up to $5,000, if found guilty for allegedly assaulting an officer. He could face up to a year in jail and a fine of up to $1,000 for his aggravated assault charge. The singer is set to appear in jail on January 5th.
